Problem:
Talent planning relies on data spread across multiple systems, including manual and analog sources. As a result, information is often outdated, inconsistent, and difficult to share, making effective talent planning inefficient and error-prone.
Solution:
We interviewed human resources professionals and observed their current workflows to understand how talent planning was being done in practice. Through this research, we identified which attributes mattered most, where time was being lost, and where misinformation was most likely to occur. These insights informed a centralized solution designed to support accurate, up-to-date talent planning.
My Role:
I updated the designs to align with the current design system and introduced a structured way for users to leave notes directly within the tool. This enabled tagging, collaboration, and long-term documentation for HR teams. I also designed a side-by-side comparison experience that helps HR professionals identify development needs and clearly visualize employee growth paths.
